Being a lively town with a lot to offer, you're guaranteed to find an enjoyable activity for everyone. With the town's recent £250m development of The Lexicon, located next to our Grange Bracknell Hotel, there are over 85 shops and restaurants and two cinemas to enjoy, 7 days a week. Things to do in Bracknell with kids

Bracknell park

Lily Hill Park is a green flag awarded historic park with over 55 acres of open public space which is located on the eastern side of Bracknell. The park features a unique Edwardian water garden and England's longest picnic bench (carved from one single piece of wood), it's the perfect place for a summer stroll to soak up the Berkshire countryside.

Soft Play Bracknell

Whooshplay centre is a soft play centre in Bracknell that is the ideal place for children aged 4 to 11 to enjoy themselves with other children in a large soft play area. Located conveniently at Bracknell Leisure centre, Whoosh has been voted the Best Children's Party venue in Berkshire for two years in a row and is the perfect place to take the little ones to keep them occupied.

Coral Reef

Coral Reef is unique as it provides many different ways for children to enjoy the water, it's the best place to get active and enjoy yourself at the same time. With fast waterslides, an erupting volcano and a pirate ship there's something for everyone! There is also an adults-only area called the Coral Spa where you can relax while your children can go off and enjoy the fun.

Go ape

If you plan to visit Go Ape, prepare yourself for a 3-hour tree-to-tree obstacle course around Swinley Forest. This adventure park is bursting with adrenaline-rushing activities and nature to indulge yourself in. Alternatively, if you don't enjoy being up high you can also hire a Segway and get exploring the forest that way.

Lapland UK

You may or may not have heard of Bracknell's most popular festive pop-up Lapland UK. Open from November and all throughout December each year, Lapland UK is a magical forest getaway located inside Bracknell Forest where you can take your children on an enchanted experience to meet Father Christmas.

The four-hour experience covers a trip to the Toy Factory where children help build toys, they then visit the Elven Village deep in the Lapland forest where families can enjoy ice skating on the frozen pond, explore the Elf Emporium and say hello to the huskies. This unique experience is available to book from the end of September and prices start from around £59pp.

There are two cinemas based in Bracknell. You have a choice of Cineworld, which is located at The Lexicon, or the ODEON, which is based around 5-minutes away outside of the Lexicon. The Lexicon's Cineworld also has 4DX features for a more thrilling experience. Both are located closely to pubs and restaurants if you want to have a meal out too.
